Hi,

I am new to VOIP and looking for some help regarding the following:

Current Setup:

Eircom Netopia 2247NWG > Linksys PAP2T > Telephone Handset

I cannot receive incoming calls on the handset. When I dial my freespeech extension from my Eircom landline, I get the automated response "This is a recorded message from Eircom, we're sorry but we cannot connect your call because the number you have dialed is not in service."

Also on outbound calls to either my Eircom landline or Vodafone mobile, The caller ID is blocked.

Any ides
Cheers

It works for both Dublin and Sligo numbers being local calls and ringing quickly. However mobile calls and national calls are taking longer to dial. Has anyone any suggestions?

Looking for some inspiration on the Linksys SPA 9000 IP PBX. I am new to setting up voip and am struggling big time with the unit. I am using an unlimited account with freespeech and have managed to get a dial tone on the box but i still cant get a connection out. Has anyone here configured one and got it working? If so could you send a little info my way to sort me out.

Thanks in advance.

> Hi All,

>
> (a) every two days (give or take) it doesn't ring
> (as in no incoming calls they go straight to
> voicemail ) and if you call someone they can hear
> you but you can't hear them. This can be fixed by

Try updating the router firmware.

> (b) There is an echo on my end of the phone when
> having conversations. It's only on my end that you

Is it for all calls, mobile, landline, incoming, outgoing ?
Have you tried a different phone ?

Currently you can't. We are working on a resolution for this.

Just thought I'd share the following dial plan than can be used on freespeech.ie using a Sipura ATA.

(999|911|112|11[013-9]x.|1[02689]x.|[24-8]xxxxxx|0[78][567][0-46-9]xxxxxx|08[567]5xxxxxxx|0[0-69]x.|*x.)

There will be no pause for emergency numbers, operator numbers, Dublin numbers, VoIP numbers and mobile numbers.

It automatically inserts 01 before dublin numbers. If you live outside Dublin you can change the [24-8]xxxxxx portion to suit whatever is your local dial plan.
