set X-Lite (or windows) to work with a callto:

Hello

Is it possible to set X-Lite (or windows) to work with a callto: link?

That is, when I click on a callto link, I want X-lite to make the call, rather than Skype.

Thanks

I think you can only use sip://name with x-lite. As far as I know the SIPPS phone will use the callto://name.

I tried that for sip: and it worked well with x-lite. All I did was save the file in notepad with .reg extension and run it as suggested.

I placed a link <a href="sip:1742@freespeech.ie" target="_blank">Echo test</a>
in a test file. When I click on the link my x-lite fires up and it goes straght to the echo test - cool.

I tried it with callto by deleting the callto entry with regedit, then placing callto instead of 'sip'. When I click on a callto link it fires up x-lite ok but with does not go through.....any ideas ?
