I have been using Voxalot as a federator / gateway / broker with freespeech and a Grandstream 286 SIP ATA for many months and it has become my main lifeline to the world. My friends and family all use my freespeech number to call me and I no longer have an Eircom line.

Starting today freespeech registration from Voxalot persistently fails. Registration from an X-Lite softphone functions correctly. I am unwilling to go back to using a softphone after the convenience of using a regular DECT analog phone connected to Voxalot via the SIP ATA.

According to the Voxalot forums this issue is the result of a deliberate action by freespeech to prevent access to their service from Voxalot's servers.

If this is the case please cease this unacceptable behaviour. If not then please explain the issue and what is being done to fix it.

voxalot has been blocked due to fraudulent behavior of it's clients.

Hello,
Voxalot is the source of credit card fraud. Fraudsters create a voxalot account to hide the location of their real client IP address for fraud screening. Because of this we block voxalot. We offered to open the firewall access if voxalot can provide a http api for client contact checking, as of yet we have not had any indication they will do this.

This is not an acceptable response - Voxalot is a free service - I have been using it for nearly a year to access freespeech without any issue - I have never had to give my credit card details to anyone - please re-establish the service as before without delay.
